Controversial British far-left politician Tony Benn insists that the following five questions should be asked of anyone with considerable power:

1) What power have you got?
2) Where did you get it from?
3) In whose interests do you use it?
4) To whom are you accountable?

and finally...

5) How do we get rid of you?

Personally, I'd skip the rest and go right to the last one.
