Fulham, Hull, Tottenham, Stoke.

The past few seasons have been fairly predictable for the Gunners, we'd be leading by averaging 6 points at the end of autumn. Buoyed and confident, championship-like team tout the local papers. We got more praises & accolades while playing sexy football. Premiership, Champions League, FA Cup rockstars.

Arsene would tell anyone to calm the eff down. Championships are not won in September. Arsenal faithfuls won't have it and we made sure everyone knew about it. It is our year, (fill the blank) is our YEAR. We were comfortably esconsced at the Premiership throne.

Spring arrives and we'd lose the plot like Jennifer Aniston. Out of the cups and gravity start to take effect on the team's standing. Sigh.

But yo yo, it's different this year. For every action, there must be an equal and opposite reaction. Hard-core geeks know this as Isaac Newton's third law of motion. There's room for another kinda of optimism. Foolish optimism, but optimism still. We're going up. That or Spurs get relegated. Punks.
